Physiotherapy Assessment  (60 min)

• For patients who are seeing the physiotherapist for the first time OR for existing patients who have a new concern OR for existing patients with the same concern but their last follow up was more than 12 months ago.

• Please book this if you have a "traditional" musculoskeletal concern. For example: neck, shoulder, wrist, back, hip, knee, ankle pain.

• Please note: if you have low back, hip, and/or tailbone pain and it seems to be related to your pelvic floor, the physiotherapist will discuss this with you and may need to change the appointment to a pelvic health physiotherapy appointment.

• For patients that have already received an initial physiotherapy assessment with the physiotherapist, it has been less than 12 months since the last follow-up, and there are NO NEW concerns.

• To maintain a high standard of care and ensure that a shorter time block is actually appropriate for your needs, please discuss with the physiotherapist. 

• This option is typically used for:​

  • Single Body Part Reassessment: quick follow-up for a single body part often when symptoms and function are progressing well. ​​

  • Ongoing Maintenance: For established patients who require minimal hands-on time or a quick progression of their current program.

  • Acute Triage: Brief checks for a minor, recent tweak to an existing injury.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Assessment (60 min)

• For patients who are seeing the physiotherapist for the first time OR for existing patients who have a new concern OR for existing patients with the same concern but their last follow up was more than 12 months ago.

• Pelvic physiotherapy treats a number of concerns including, but not limited to: urinary/bowel incontinence, troubles emptying bladder/bowel, prolapse, painful intercourse, tailbone pain, pelvic pain, etc.

• Follow-up treatment for existing patients. For patients that have already received an initial pelvic physiotherapy assessment with the physiotherapist, it has been less than 12 months since the last follow-up, and there are NO NEW concerns. 

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Assessment - Pregnancy (60 min)

• For patients who are seeing the physiotherapist for the first time AND are currently pregnant.

• Please book a new assessment if you have seen the physiotherapist before for a previous pregnancy. Each new pregnancy is a new assessment. 

• Pelvic physiotherapy treats a number of concerns including during pregnancy including, but not limited to: birth preparation, pelvic pain, round ligament pain, back pain, bladder leakage, etc. 

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Treatment - Pregnancy (30 min)

• Follow-up treatment for existing patients. For patients who have already received a Pelvic Health Physiotherapy - Pregnancy Assessment for their current pregnancy. 

• If this is a new pregnancy and the physiotherapist has not seen you for this pregnancy, please book an assessment.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Assessment - Post Birth (60 min)

• For patients who are recently postpartum (within 6 months of giving birth) and are looking for pelvic physiotherapy to address their pelvic health concerns. This includes, but not limited to: addressing return to exercise, perineal scar issues, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, caesarean section scar treatment, etc. 

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Assessment - Post Birth Returning Patient (60 min)

• For returning patients who are recently postpartum (within 6 months of giving birth) and have seen the physiotherapist during their pregnancy and are looking for pelvic physiotherapy to address their pelvic health concerns. This includes, but not limited to: addressing return to exercise, perineal scar issues, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, caesarean section scar treatment, etc.
